In response to the Covid-19 crisis, an urgent call went out in March from the NHS for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices. Rapid developments followed and a solution was proposed after close collaboration between Mercedes AMG HPP, UCL,UCLH and our customer Oxford Optronix.
In partnership with Oxford Optronix, our engineers and production team at Mowden have been working flat out to deliver PCB assemblies for their specially designed oxygen monitors over various stages, once the go ahead was given from the Government.
A massive thanks to all those involved in the project for their efforts, showing total commitment and flexibility including working over Easter. This enabled us to condense what would normally take weeks and deliver within the unprecedented timescales required in just days!
We are very proud to be able to assist in this vital project and to see the devices now being distributed to hospitals, providing much needed support to the NHS.
